Table top role playing game for and with coworkers.
context of NPCs and players.

Characters.
- Zen Druid from the Underlands and Fire Tiefling
- Gayle Warlock Tiefling Moon Hexblade Raven Queen
- Blondie Halfelven Paladin of the Sea
- Marsha Halfelven Cleric of Light (Eternal Flames)
- Zeralt Halfelven Bard College of Lore
Everyone above was supposed to have two characters made and next to no one did. They also have several other NPCs or former player characters.
Zeralt has a clone of him or an imposter that has been standing in for him at The Wizard’s tower SummerLand, arranged by Zeralt and his old or maybe still current employer Reth.
Marsha is of an Established noble house well educated to the point of being permanently on sorority vacation mindset. Yet has risen to an equivalent to Cardinal rank in their church and head of the order on Player’s Island
Beardean (maybe character name) Fighter Arcane Archer using thrown weapons. And while nearly one of the only dwarfes on the Elven Islands is celebrated more than disliked simply for being such an oddity while in the metropolitan city of Victoria also known as the Sapphire Crown City.
Blondie is a good time johny bravo ish Himbo who has a decreased or adolescent Wyvern mount. Was dating the Queen to be crowned who is using his minor nobility and recent actions as a hero to their kingdom by helping bring the her grandfathers killer to justice. There is a Lot more to explain we can get back to this.
Gayle has provided most of the population of the island by inviting trusted family members as crew for the ships they arrived to the island with, with more to be arriving soon. Gayle also worked in Aquisitions department of the Wizard’s Tower Summer Land and won Reth’s approval and rewards. Has a flying carpet he forgets about large enough for eight medium sized occupants. Pets include a shadow drake companion that it’s self now has a companion or familiar raven.
Zen has a fire elemental companion as a multi tailed fox. She had rescued Reth from a remote island, one she is closer to now than at the Tower. Zen has a solid silver staff enhancing fire magic.
There was another player for two games that after they stopped playing I used in a plot/ adventure.
NPC that the players liked and one I get so use to simply add a plot train to the players is Gronk. I do a voice for him that they all seem to enjoy. This has been working rather well for me as a DM.
Verban Sorcerer Divine Soul at a lower level than the players.
Having their own Island might be a D&D win as the DM I find having an island in most games seems like a win. I have made this argument about settlers of catan.
Player’s Island is large enough to include farm land and multiple peers with high mountains on the west. Inland water ways from the south and east with large protected interior docking for boats and ships. Strong hold on the easter side with cliff faces, open water to cliffs and split part of the islands. While the island has great stronghold potential it had fallen to the attacks of a blue dragon hundreds of years ago. The only survivor of that time is the ale drake, an NPC I do not remember if I named. There is a nest of harpies near a wall on the road between the easter fort and another fort on a small northern beach. Blondie’s drake has been casually hunting the harpies until none remain. There are 18 foot tall Moa birds that hunt the island and the NPC Gronk wants to domesticate them. Near the wester foot hils where moutains and beach close in are mud pits and healing springs. One a week bathing for four hours grants a long rest. Here the players encountered Geode earth elemental villagers cave dwellers who celebrate and enjoy the mud pits as strong primal and elemental magic.

Characters reached out by their backgrounds to a librarian at The Wizard tower. A gnome named Tim who was able to find them with a few island suggestions and maps. They then used most of their remaining once vast wealth and descreately aquire boats and the rest to set out for their own island. It was an elven city.
There is also a older dragon turtle settled and bribed into allowing the characters to be on the island. I do not recall naming the dragon turtle yet. it could wrech any of their current boats. 3.5 The Players and NPCs other than the ale house drake, arrived on four boats. One that had the best condisions was a large Junk style. Jethro the wizard helmed a Drua. I’ll provide more as I remember on this.
This island is the fourth region of game play. Before this they were all in the city I have been lazily calling Victoria. This is an island nation of elven kingdoms mostly city states. Inspired by New Zealand. It had been colonized by Elves and Giants, however almost no giants live there. When wild nature embracing elves much like our Pacific islanders found green skinned more fey like elves already living in the forests. Later Groups of Blond and Red haired High/ Court Elves arrived fleing their ruined lands behind. One such group was lucky enough to find the other wave of Elven introduced populations. The city state of Victoria and her Steel working trade was built in the shadow of The Wizards Tower. While these last two groups of elves only physically differ in those descended from the tower have dark hair. Any of the Victoria city working for The Wizard tower holds higher respect or interst. The players stopped a war, there is a statue. They upset the metal refineries and have bounties on their heads that does not pay well enough at all according to the squads of hitmen that have watched them in action or been swiftly dealt with. Both of those interactions in the open streets. Unknown to the players who will unlikely read this much text are now targeted by the gNome Syndicate.
The first of these games had just two players Zen and another druid played by the person that now plays Gayle. They found a remote island of turtle folk while searching for Reth being shipwrecked. They found he and sole other travels being slow petrified in an elaborate tomb anti magic five mile radius. They managed to rescue Reth and the other elf died after they released a human ( the only human in the game setting to be established yet). What they released after breaking the anti magic circle was the second being to replace the original god avatar of death.
The party changed with the Zen going through a magic gate circle along with a team of adventures hired to safe guard a hotel in a distant land. This was is a bit of DM only fun as I made the adventure the tavern as it seems that is what the players wanted. They quickly got involved or failed to get involved with Necromancer, Oni posed Kimono, unicorn, saved a near dead ancient hero, stopped a high ritual of evil dragon creation. And made an enemy of a local princes that is an evil ranger. Got plum wine that is a hallucinogen. When the ten days are over they party finds their apartments have been emptied for a fire and related water damage and have to find other lodgings.
Reth provides them with a contact who hires them to steal an ancient crown held in the city being displayed for the Saphire Crown festival. The party was paid double to take it while on parraid. The small draconic Ariki hired them and spoke through an asistant who could understand his thick accent, something he did drop after the hiest was complete. Seen the army of beings living under the sea of aquatic elves giants and other beings, Brokered peace by investing in updating the local industry. Took Three Game Seasions to have a Beach Episode that they requested. For that I made them fight Dire Phlamingoes. The Tower seemingly vanished after a mass recall of it’s employees as it’s protocol.
